The Bank of Montreal wanted their newly renovated Houston office to reflect their corporate art collecting culture, which included collecting young artists from around the regional area of their offices. The subsequent collection includes both mid- level and entry level Texas based artists, whose work complements their transitional traditional space.
BMO’s new offices utilize cream and earth tones accented by dark mahogany finishes. MKG worked with BMO put together a collection that reflects Texas artists including Lance Letscher, Jonathan Leach, Randy Twaddle, and Jennifer Prichard, while simultaneously complimenting the new space.
MKG worked with BMO to navigate what would be difficult spaces to display art. In the lobby, MKG oversaw the installation of a Jennifer Prichard ceramic commission that complimented both the wood paneling the work was installed on and the cream tonal theme throughout the office.
