Noble Energy utilized MKG to help create an art collection for their new corporate headquarters in North Houston. With an emphasis on materiality, the art collection includes works comprised of plastic bottles, reclaimed wood, tea bags, and accounting tape.
Noble’s LEED certified architecture is full of floor to ceiling windows and light. The main lobby areas feature warm neutral color palettes, sumptuous wooden accents and warm marble floors. The art reflects the sophistication of the space, while being bold and engaging at the same time.
For Noble’s 2nd floor lobby space, the company sought art that would leave a lasting impact on the view. For this reason Noble commissioned Aurora Robson to construct an organically themed suspended installation comprised of 7,000 recycled plastic bottles, and purchased a Chang Young Chun mixed media piece for the lobby space.
